Our Story

Born from a Passion for Evidence

Clarity Research and Counseling was founded with a clear conviction: that well-designed research and honest data interpretation are the most powerful tools for organizational transformation and policy change.

Registered in January 2026 under Kenya's Business Registration Service (BN-ZWSAO7LY), Clarity RC emerged from years of academic training, fieldwork experience, and a deep appreciation for the gap between research and practical application in Kenyan institutions.

From baseline surveys in rural Uasin Gishu schools to grant proposal development for national NGOs, we bring the same level of commitment and intellectual precision to every assignment — whether it's a PhD student's data analysis or a government program evaluation.

Dancun Ochieng Otieno

Founder & Lead Research Consultant | DAAD Scholar | PhD Candidate

Dancun Ochieng Otieno is a dedicated early-career researcher, postgraduate leader, and academic professional whose work is driven by a singular passion: transforming education and development through rigorous, applied research.

He holds a Master of Education in Research (DAAD-sponsored) from Moi University and is finalising a Master of Education in Educational Psychology at Maasai Mara University, having graduated with First-Class Honours in Bachelor of Education (Science with Guidance and Counselling).

Currently completing his Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Research and Evaluation at Moi University's Department of Education Management and Policy Studies, Dancun also serves as the Postgraduate Chairperson (37th Council) at Moi University — representing master's and PhD students across the institution.

His long-term vision is to establish a Centre for Educational Innovation and Digital Learning at Moi University, fostering partnerships that empower educators and transform learning outcomes across Kenya and beyond.
